Telos News» Friday, April 26, 2013Comic Companion Shortlisted for SF Award  The Comic Strip Companion: The Unofficial and Unauthorised Guide to Doctor Who in Comics: 1964–1979 has been nominated for an award. The book, by New Zealand author Paul Scoones, published by Telos, is on the final ballot for the Sir Julius Vogel Awards in the Best Professional Publication Category. The Vogel awards are administered by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Association of New Zealand. Voting will take place at AuContraire, the national science fiction convention, to be held in Wellington, New Zealand from 12-14 July 2013.
