Telos News» Saturday, January 22, 2011 ZOMBIES HAVE ARRIVEDWe're pleased to announce that Telos' fantastic collection of short horror fiction by the acclaimed and award-winning Sam Stone have now arrived. Copies are being processed for everyone who has pre-ordered, and they'll be despatched as soon as we can. The book has had a great initial reaction, and there are several signings and events set up to launch it and give readers the chance to meet Sam and to chat about her work. As a guest at the convention, Sam will also be taking part in several panels and a reading. VAMPIRE NIGHT Bookmark Bookstore in Spalding will be hosting a Vampire Night on World Book day, 3rd March. This event begins at 6.15pm. Sam will be reading extracts from her Vampire Gene Series and Zombies in New York. There will also be a buffet. Entrance fee applies. Waterstones will be providing resfreshments and there will also be copies of Sam's Vampire Gene series available to purchase as well as the collection. As with all signing events a free piece of Sam Stone Merchandise will be given with every purchase or an autographed photo. This kicks off the start of the Zombies tour. Copies of Zombies in New York and Other Bloody Jottings will be available to purchase at this popular North Wales store. Time: 12-4pm Date: 5th March Address: Waterstones, Llandudno, North Wales And don't forget that the book can also be ordered online, direct from the Telos site at www.telos.co.uk Posted by David @ 9:46 am » Wednesday, January 05, 2011 ZOMBIES IN NEW YORKThere has been lots of activity at Telos Towers over the Christmas and New Year break, culminating in our new horror fiction collection, Zombies in New York and Other Bloody Jottings being delivered to the printers today. The collection is by the supremely talented Sam Stone, and it features a perceptive Foreword from Graham Masterton, one of the UK's foremost horror authors and a master of the art, as well as an affectionate Afterword from Doctor Who actor Frazer Hines. The book also features the incredible talent of Russell Morgan who has illustrated all the stories and poems therein.  The cover is by the multiple Award winning artist Vincent Chong, and to say that we are delighted with his work on this would be an understatement. The book will be launched in LA this coming February at the annual Gallifrey convention, but Sam Stone will be appearing at a number of bookstores and events in the UK this year to promote the book. Furthermore, every copy pre-ordered from the Telos site will come personally signed, and also every pre-order will receive a special Sam Stone badge from a selection she has recently created.
