TELEVISION COMPANION UPDATE
We finally have copies!
Over the coming weekend we'll be packaging and mailing them out to all the shops and folks who have been waiting patiently for the book. Apologies for the delay, but I hope you'll feel it's been worth waiting for.

We spoke to the shippers today, and we have been promised delivery of The Television Companion on Friday this week.
Here's hoping we'll be mailing books on Saturday ...

Apologies for the continued delay to The Television Companion ... We were meant to get copies last week, but it got delayed for another week at the port because some idiot sent food in one of the containers on the ship which meant that the books could not be unloaded until the food had been located and destroyed. We were then meant to get copies tomorrow (Weds 22nd October), but a call today suggested that something else was wrong with the paperwork but they weren't sure what ... and we're currently waiting for the call back to let us know what's happening. We'll chase it again tomorrow to try and find out what's happening and when we might get our books delivered!
It's so frustrating and so totally out of our control. More news as and when we have it.
On other books, we're expecting the following to arrive around the first or second weeks of November:
EYE OF THE TYGER
THE WINNING SIDE
SKIRTS BRING ME SORROW
SOME LOOK BETTER DEAD
and the following to arrive sometime around the start of December (at the moment - more unexpected delays may occur):
FOREIGN DEVILS paperback
GHOST SHIP paperback
ASPECTS OF A PSYCHOPATH
HOWE'S TRANSCENDENTAL TOYBOX
So it's going to be a busy next couple of months basically. Keep your eyes on Telos Talk for more updates as we know ourselves what is happening.

We are now very low on Standard editions of the following DOCTOR WHO titles:
RIP TIDE (we have 8 left)
SHELL SHOCK (we have 39 left)
CABINET OF LIGHT (we have 16 left)
As mentioned previously, from now on in, we are managing the print runs of the DOCTOR WHO Novellas so that we are not left with copies once our licence runs out. Therefore if you want the titles, order them in advance.

ORDERING DALEK FACTOR
A question from one of our readers:
As I'm sure 'The Dalek Factor' will be like a FA Cup Final Ticket (the people who never go to a match wanting a ticket) I was wondering if you have a cut-off date for people to pre-order to ensure a copy - for those subscribers who (like myself) are trying to budget for the amount of merchandise available between now and November.
A good question, and I wish I had an accurate answer. For the Deluxe edition, we've initially set the limitation at 800 and are monitoring it to see how it goes. When we sell out (if we sell out) on pre-orders, we'll announce this on the site. We can increase the number, but after around the end of November this won't be possible.
As for the standard edition, again, we need to set the print run around the end of November, so if you want to pre-order it, you really need to do that by then.

As of yesterday we sold the last standard copy we had of TIME AND RELATIVE, and so unfortunately that edition is now totally sold out from Telos. We still have deluxe editions available though. Also, we have just one standard edition of GHOST SHIP available with a subscription so get in fast if you want it.
The site will be updated shortly to reflect that TIME AND RELATIVE will no longer be a part of any standard subscription from now on.

A question from one subscriber which raises a good question:
Since Frayed has been unfortunately delayed, does that mean that subscriptions that would have ended with that book when it was due out in October will now end with Eye of the Tyger?
The answer is that all book subscriptions will remain exactly as they are, so people who subscribed up to and including FRAYED will receive up to and including FRAYED (and not EYE OF THE TYGER).
This applies whenever the books end up being published.
