COMPANION PIECE IN STOCK

We have taken delivery of the *standard* edition of COMPANION PIECE and hope to be mailing out copies to subscribers and pre-orders today, so that they arrive before Christmas.

The *deluxe* edition has been promised to arrive tomorrow (Thurs) and we'll do our best to get those out to subscribers and pre-orders as well.

Unfortunately it won't be possible for us to get stocks to shops and distributors before the Christmas break, but these will be mailed as soon after the Christmas period as we can arrange.

BOOKS OVER CHRISTMAS

We are working hard to try and ensure that all books ordered before Christmas are despatched to arrive before Christmas, however we are in the hands of the post office and mailing carrier that we use in this regard.

The current position is probably that any orders recieved and processed by us (it takes a day or so to process them before they can be mailed) so we can despatch by or on this coming weekend will probably arrive in the UK before Christmas. For overseas orders it is already too late for them to arrive before Christmas.

MARTYN ALNER - UNSUNG HERO OF THE COLOUR SECTION!

It's truly inexplicable how things get missed even after months of painstaking work, but rest assured, if something can go wrong...

The point is this - there is no way that the special colour section in the second edition of the TOYBOX, featuring every DWM cover from #1 to the present, would have existed if not for the indispensable contribution and support of Martyn Alner, who provided the scans for every cover featured in that section. How did we miss putting his name and superb DWM archival website, www.martsplace.co.uk, in the acknowledgements?

On that page, we do note that there are often people we might forget to name who we nevertheless want to thank for their help, but we did want to draw attention to Martyn's contribution and thank him for all the support. Next time we'll get it right

DELUXE TV COMPANION NOW SOLD OUT

Due to massive demand, the deluxe hardback edition of THE TELEVISION COMPANION is now completely sold out from Telos Publishing. This also means that we are unable to supply any copies to our American and Canadian distributor and so places like amazon.com and the US based specialist shops will not be able to get hold of copies.

Your best bet therefore for getting a copy is to order from one of the UK retailers who might have copies left. Try 10th Planet (sales@tenthplanet.co.uk) or Galaxy 4 (galaxy4@syol.com).

We're sorry if you are unable to locate one, but the nature of Telos' deluxe hardbacks is that they are limited edition, and so if you are interested in getting copies of these editions in future, then pre-ordering from Telos is the best way of ensuring you receive them.

TOYBOX ARRIVES

We have today unexpectedly - it's a week early - taken delivery of HOWE'S TRANSCENDENTAL TOYBOX, the second edition of our DOCTOR WHO Merchandise Guide. Copies will start to be despatched as soon as we can find some space to unpack them in!

Remember that all copies ordered direct from Telos will receive a free unique collectible Dalek Rolykin - a chromed Gunner Dalek. Each is also numbered and they're limited to 600 copies world wide.

FINISHED AT LAST

After a week of slog, we have finally got all the backlog of books sorted and off to everyone today - individual orders and shops. The exception is to our UK distributor Gardners as there is a vast pile of boxes to go there and we're trying to figure out the best way to safely deliver them. The titles will also all be shipped off to America in the next week or so as well.

BOOKS ARRIVED

We have today taken delivery of the Deluxe hardback states of FRAYED and THE WINNING SIDE so these will now be packaged and delivered to all the pre-orders and shops as soon as we can manage it.
