DESPATCH UPDATE
We have received several emails from customers wondering where their copies of EYE OF THE TYGER, FRAYED and THE TELEVISION COMPANION hardbacks are ... Basically, because all the books arrived at once, we are now working our way through the massive backlog of orders, and as there is just myself and - mainly - Rosemary doing this, it's going to take a couple of weeks before we can sort them all out and get them all mailed off. Please be patient with us - the site does ask people to allow 28 days from the publication (or order) date for delivery, and this is to allow us time to process the orders and get them in the post. We did get the 'special' editions of EYE OF THE TYGER off to customers early as there were only 40 copies, and I wanted them to arrive before the Anniversary weekend. Thanks to everyone for your patience. Posted by David @ 10:45 pm » Thursday, November 20, 2003

EYE OF THE TIGER IN TIME FOR THE ANNIVERSARY
We have today received the copies of the standard, deluxe and 'special' slipcased editions of EYE OF THE TYGER. We will be despatching the 'special' edition to those people who have ordered and paid for it tomorrow so that hopefully it will arrive (for those people in the UK at least) in time for the weekend. Happy 40th Anniversary! The standard editions of EYE OF THE TYGER and FRAYED will be despatched early next week (together if both have been ordered) and the deluxe editions of EYE OF THE TYGER will also be despatched early next week. STOCK ARRIVAL
We have today taken delivery of the Deluxe hardback edition of THE TELEVISION COMPANION. With it's red and gold metallic cover and gold foil stamping, it's a very handsome book indeed and a fitting tribute for the 40th (ruby) anniversary of DOCTOR WHO. We'll be sending out the pre-orders later this week. David Posted by David @ 10:28 pm » Saturday, November 15, 2003
BOOKS IN STOCK/UPDATE
We have just recieved finished copies of the Hank Janson book SOME LOOK BETTER DEAD and the Standard edition of FRAYED. There was a printing error on the covers of the Deluxe edition of FRAYED and so these are being re-done by the printers. No delivery date as yet, but likely to be end of November now. The Janson and the Standard FRAYED will be despatched to pre-ordering customers over the next week. Copies of THE WINNING SIDE have been slightly delayed but the paperbacks are promised soon, with the hardbacks to follow around the end of November. We're also expecting the hardback of THE TELEVISION COMPANION next week as well. Copies of EYE OF THE TYGER, which were expected last week, did not arrive, and are now promised next week. COMPANION PIECE went off to the printers today, and finished copies are currently expected around the 12th December. HOWE'S TRANSCENDENTAL TOYBOX is also at the printers, and copies are likewise expected around the 12th December. David Posted by David @ 12:40 pm » Wednesday, November 12, 2003
SUBMISSIONS
I've received a number of enquiries about submissions lately, and, apart from making me feel guilty, I felt I needed to make a more general statement regarding them. Telos receives a great many submissions, and we like to offer an open-door policy to anyone to come to us. Unfortunately this tends to create a rod for our own backs as we have hardly any time to be able to read and respond to submissions in as timely a manner as we would like. Generally speaking, I can only really get to go through the print and email slush piles once or twice a year, and this is tending to happen around Easter and Christmas when there is some time to devote to the task. So to everyone who has sent material in and who is patently awaiting a response, I'm afraid it's unlikely that I'll be able to get back to you before Christmas. I'm sorry about this, but it's the reality of the situation that scheduled books will always take precedence over the submission pile. We do welcome submissions, and next time I will certainly be looking through them with an eye to filling one or two slots in 2005, but please be patient with us.
